But among the thousands who've sought out this form of therapy since the first Oregon clinics opened are those who say it's completely changed their lives. Tonight, we follow a Portland woman haunted by the loss of her 25-year-old son in 2023, a grief she can't seem to move on from. She decided to try psilocybin therapy as a way of gaining new perspective, and we spoke with her both before and just after that experience.
