In Lawrence, the streets running through town separate more than just neighborhoods — they separate someone's chances of living a longer life — and the numbers might surprise you.
Researchers at IU Indianapolis calculated the average life expectancy across all five zip codes in the city of Lawrence. They found residents in the 46256 lived on average eight years longer than those living south in the 46226 zip code.
