Description
A firefighter was injured and a man was displaced by a fire on Indianapolis' near west side Monday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 1:30 p.m. June 2 in the 1100 block of North Warman Avenue, just north of 10th Street. Crews responding to reports of heavy smoke coming from a home found a "fast moving blaze" coming from the building, the Indianapolis Fire Department said.
The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes. One firefighter suffered a "slight heat injury" and one man was displaced, officials said.
