A town official in Hamilton County has been terminated after he was named in a 1992 murder investigation.
The Atlanta town council held a special meeting Saturday, May 31 to discuss Andy Emmert, utility superintendent and building commissioner, being named but not charged in the murder of 24-year-old Tony Bledsoe by the man who is charged with murder — 53-year-old Thomas Anderson.
