Description
If you are sick of sitting in traffic for hours on Interstate 4 on your way to Orlando, you now have a way to avoid it completely.
Southwest is helping travelers avoid headaches with new flights from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport to Orlando International Airport starting Aug. 5.
According to the airline's website, there will be a flight at 7 a.m. and a flight at 5:50 p.m., so peak rush hour times, lasting just under an hour. If you drove from Sarasota to Orlando during these times, it could take two to three hours, according to Google Maps. The return flights from Orlando to Sarasota will be at 10:45 a.m. and 7:35 p.m.
