Description
The appeal trial of Salim Berrada, dubbed by French media the "Tinder rapist", has begun in Creteil, near Paris. On the first day of hearings, lawyers on both sides declined to speak to reporters. Berrada, a former photographer from Morocco, was sentenced to 18 years in 2023 for raping and sexually assaulting several women he had lured on dating apps and social media to take their picture.
