Description
The British-Nigerian brothers behind "My Father's Shadow", a film set in Nigeria which got a special mention at the Cannes film festival this year in the "Camera d'Or" best film category, share their hopes for Nigerian cinema, as the movie is released in cinemas in the West African nation. "Whenever I watch films from the US and places like that, I see Nigerian or African characters that I don't recognise," says Wale Davies, who produced the film. "And I think it's important to start creating our own work." IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
