Beijing's decision to provisionally impose additional taxes on European pork imports alarms the sector in Spain, the continent's leading pork meat exporter. With already low export margins, industry representatives say pork is being "sacrificed" in favor of other meat products, to the benefit of other sectors and markets such as Brazil, Russia, and China.
