French philosopher Raphael Enthoven, in court accused of public insult against the left-wing party France Unbowed (LFI), argues that his tweet was a way of "participating in public debate", rather than being intended as a personal attack. His lawyer insists that the words were "mild and even humorous", and were far less aggressive than those used by party members against Enthoven.
