"Today is one of the saddest days for us," says Jael Apondi, a resident of the Nairobi neighbourhood of Kibera, following the death of Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga. Emotional scenes have broken out across Kenya in response to the news, with hundreds taking to the streets in Kibera, part of Odinga's first parliamentary constituency from 1992 until 2013.
