Description
It was a mostly nice Father's Day around central Ohio, but once again, we had to dodge those pesky scattered showers and storms throughout the region. Bad news for the work week — this pattern is still set to continue over the next several days!
As we head through early Monday, most of the rainfall should come to an end, with partly to mostly cloudy skies expected. Temps will fall into the mid to upper 60s with plenty of humidity remaining around the region.
Monday will start off fairly dry, with isolated showers and some storms returning during the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to be near to above normal, in the low to mid-80s, with these temperatures persisting throughout the upcoming week. It will also be humid each day, so get ready for more summer feeling outdoor conditions!
This combination of warm and humid conditions will lead to chances for showers and storms each day beyond Monday as well, with the greatest chances coming in Tuesday and Wednesday. We're not expecting any widespread severe weather at this time, but with the conditions, a few strong storms are always a possibility. Rain should wrap up on Thursday, with the best chances for rain early in the day.
Heading into next weekend, dry weather will finally return starting on Friday, but the heat isn't going anywhere! It appears like some real summer conditions will build in, as highs head for the upper 80s and even the 90s by Sunday!
