Description
We're starting off the week with sunshine and mild temperatures, with a perfect afternoon ahead today!
Get ready though, we will have our first round of changes arrive midweek as a cold front moves through, knocking highs back to the 60s for the rest of the work week. Any rain chances with this front will be minimal, as there won't be much moisture around, so expect a brief increase in cloud cover Wednesday along with a northerly breeze and drop in temps.
Sunshine returns for Thursday and Friday, but the cool conditions continue with highs in the 60s with some patchy frost possible both Thursday and Friday morning.
Heading into the weekend, we're expecting our next weather maker to arrive! Ahead of this system, southerly winds will boost temperatures up well into the 70s to near 80 on Saturday.
As a frontal boundary moves in, scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible Saturday with more showers and storms overnight into Sunday. With rain around Sunday, temperatures will remain in the 60s, and we kick off next week feeling more like fall.
This system has the potential to bring more than one inch of rainfall to Ohio, which will greatly help with the drought conditions.
