Description
Areas of dense fog have developed for our Friday morning, reducing visibility to near zero in many locations. Give yourself some extra time on the commute as there will likely be many slowdowns.
A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 AM. By the time, the fog will have mostly clear up, and sunshine is expected for the afternoon. With a mostly sunny sky later today, expected temperatures to warm into the upper 70s. Perfect conditions for all high school football games later this evening!
With high pressure building in, we're in for another stretch of sunshine and warm weather over the next several days. We'll wrap up September with several days in the lower 80s.
There will me little to no chances for rain in the extended forecast. However, tropical activity in the western Atlantic will likely bring heavy rain to the Carolina. It is possible that some of that moisture could make it closer to Ohio, and bring us at least a slight chance for some showers next week. Otherwise, no big systems will be moving through until we get into October.
