Description
Welcome to the season of Fall, which begins at the Autumnal Equinox today at 2:19 PM.
A mix of clouds and sun will bring temperatures into the upper-70s and low-80s in the early afternoon. This afternoon, expect another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Like Sunday, the severe weather risk remains low, but a couple of storms could strengthen into severe criteria, accompanied by gusty winds and brief, heavy downpours. Today will also begin to feel more fall like and seasonable, leading the way with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s throughout the week.
Rain will be likely nearly every day this week, with some days having more activity than others. Scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm are likely Tuesday and Wednesday, with a lingering threat on Thursday. Each day, highs will only reach the mid-70s, which will feel much more like early fall. By Friday, more sun is possible, but a scattered shower or pop-up storm cannot be ruled out. Heading into the weekend, our rain chances diminish, with more sunshine. We will still feel warm with highs reaching the upper-70s.
