Description
The Nature Conservancy holds a perpetual conservation easement on the Joy Valley Nature Preserve, covering nearly 3,000 acres.
“It’s in a region that is the most ecologically diverse on earth, second only to the tropical rainforest in terms of biodiversity,” said Blair.
The property, the largest tract of privately protected forest in Ohio’s history, was donated by Betty Lowe, whose family had stewarded this land for over a century.
