A Columbus homeowner is spreading awareness after having to pay a hidden fee for a water meter upgrade as mandated by the city. "This is just the way the structure, the footage is in that area.
I said 'I don't think I should incur that charge,'" said Joey Bing.
But he did — to the tune of $500 for a plumber to move his water heater so the company contracted by the city could replace the meter.
