San Diego Weather Forecast: Early season storm bringing heavy rain, wind and chance of thunderstorms on Tuesday. The incoming low pressure system could drop up to a full inch of rain on some spots in San Diego county, making for a busy Weather Impact Alert Day. See San Diego radar at https://www.cbs8.com/radar This storm is losing momentum as it drifts south, meaning the heaviest accumulations can be expected in North County San Diego (close to a full inch of rain). South Bay cities on the other hand will stay slightly lighter on accumulations with models projecting about a half inch in total. The bulk of the moisture is more favorable during the late morning hours and lasts through the afternoon and early evening hours. Slick roads and even street flooding are hazards for Tuesday.
