Alex Loker joined the Working Fur Kids Give-A-Thon to explain the importance of the Rady Children's Resident Professional Canine Therapy program. Loker is the Vice President of Philanthropy at the hospital. On August 26, CBS 8 and Rady Children’s held a Working Fur Kids Give-A-Thon, encouraging donations from the community in an effort to raise funds for the Rady Children's Resident Professional Canine Therapy program. The program will help ease the pain and suffering of children who are patients at Rady Children’s Hospital, California’s largest non-profit children’s hospital.
