Description
Meet Haisley | Haisley was diagnosed with stage 4 tissue cancer just 4 months ago and is currently undergoing treatment. Haisley was part of a special program where children battling cancer enjoyed a special day swimming with dolphins at SeaWorld San Diego, giving them a chance to forget about their diagnoses and just be kids again.
On August 26, CBS 8 and Rady Children’s held a Working Fur Kids Give-A-Thon, encouraging donations from the community to help raise funds for the Rady Children's Resident Canine Therapy program. The program will help ease the pain and suffering of children who are patients at Rady Children’s Hospital, California’s largest non-profit children’s hospital.
