Description
The Indianapolis Zoo says its male Amur tiger, Pavel, has died at 18 years old. According to a May 27 post on the zoo's social media, "Pavel had become noticeably lethargic and had a significant decrease in his appetite. After a medical examination, our animal care team made the difficult decision to humanely euthanize him."
