IMPD is investigating after a person was critically injured in a shooting on downtown Indianapolis Monday afternoon. The shooting was reported shorter after noon near the intersection of South Pennsylvania and East Maryland streets. Responding officers located a person who had been shot, who was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, a department spokesperson confirmed.
