Fire crews recovered a man's body from Clear Creek in Jefferson County on Sunday evening, West Metro Fire Rescue said. West Metro and the Arvada Police Department said a kayaker discovered the man's body in the area of the creek off 48th Avenue, near the Clear Creek trailhead. That's just south of the Interstate 70 and Interstate 76 interchange.
