A teen has been sentenced after shots were fired into an Englewood officer's patrol car, narrowly missing the officer. Josiah Garcia-Sauer, 17, was sentenced to seven years in the Youthful Offender System on Friday. He pleaded guilty in April to one count of attempted murder of a peace officer and a sentence enhancer of a weapon used during a violent crime, according to court records. He is also to pay nearly $3,000 in restitution.
