One person has died following a shooting in a small Summit County town south of Breckenridge. The Blue River Police Department said on its Facebook page that they were investigating a death that occurred Monday night in the 100 block of Aspen Meadow. At about 6:20 p.m., the department received a 911 call about a shooting or shots fired in that area. Officers responded to the scene and heard additional gunfire.
