Description
July 23 on The Story: This week, some of Oregon's most popular family farms and agritourism destinations took to social media, saying that a state agency called the Department of Land Conservation and Development was considering a set of new policies that could put them out of business by cracking down on some of the attractions they rely upon to stay in business. But a document produced by the DLCD on Wednesday suggests that most of those attractions would just require a farm stand permit; the biggest change would come in the form of restrictions on what products can be sold at a farm stand. A state official says at least some of the backlash they're seeing is "misinformation."
