July 21 on The Story: The Portland Housing Bureau, Metro and Home Forward are aiming to give a quick boost to the city's affordable housing supply by buying three market-rate apartment buildings and converting them to affordable units. Existing tenants at the Goose Hollow Lofts, Paramount Apartments and Acqua Apartments can choose to stay on their current leases, but they'll also be offered incentives to move out in order to make room for low-income residents.
