Description
One of the largest Independence Day parades in Colorado returned to the streets of Greeley. The 2025 Greeley Stampede Independence Day Parade stepped off at 9 a.m. Friday.
The parade started on the University of Northern Colorado campus at 10th Avenue and Crawford Place and runs east along 10th Avenue to 7th Street just past Lincoln Park.
Ron Wildeman and Kelly Quick served as the 2025 grand marshals for the Greeley Stampede Independence Day Parade.
The Greeley Stampede said Wildeman has been a key volunteer for the Stampede, serving on the committee and as the General Chairman in 2011 and 2012, as well as a 30-year member of the Greeley Rotary Club. Wildeman has also been a volunteer for various boards including the Chamber of Commerce, Poudre Learning Center, and Weld County Workforce Development.
Serving in the community alongside Wildeman is his partner, Quick, who has been involved with several community organizations, drawing on a long family history in northern Colorado and the Greeley Stampede.
The Greeley Stampede opened June 25 and continues through Sunday, July 6, at Island Grove Regional Park.
