Description
A 10-year-old is in critical condition after he was hit by a car while riding his bike Saturday morning in Frankfort.
According to a release from the Frankfort Police Department, around 10:22 a.m. on May 17, officers responded to a 911 call about a crash in the area of McKinley Avenue and Short Myrtle Avenue.
When officers arrived and began investigating, they discovered that a vehicle was traveling westbound on McKinley Avenue when it struck a 10-year-old boy on a bicycle who was riding south out of an alleyway. Police say the driver was unable to come to a stop in time.
