It is the largest order ever of "big body" planes that both Boeing and GE Aerospace has ever had and Hoosier manufacturing will help it take off. Qatar Airways reached an agreement with the American plane manufacturer to buy 210 new airplanes: 130 new, and 30 Boeing 777-9 aircraft, with 50 extra. All of those planes would be fitted with brand new "next-generation" engines produced by GE Aerospace that would get their start here in the Hoosier State.
