A former employee is suing Newfields, claiming he was the victim of race discrimination. Ernest Gause was the chief diversity officer and chief technology officer at Newfields. He was hired in February 2022 and dismissed in January 2025. Gause's federal lawsuit also claims he was retaliated against for reporting race discrimination on behalf of himself and others.
