There are several new American citizens here after a special naturalization ceremony held Tuesday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The event is a tradition at the track every year. The ceremony usually sees 33 people sworn in – a number which represents the 33 drivers who will race in the Indy 500 – but on this day, a 34th person took part: an Arrow McLaren team member from England.
