Description

A small plane made an emergency landing Sunday afternoon in Greenwood. According to a spokesperson for the Greenwood Fire Department, shortly after noon on May 11, GFD was dispatched to the Indy South Greenwood Airport on a report of an aircraft emergency. A small plane was reportedly taking off from a runway heading north. Shortly after takeoff, the plane reportedly lost power and had to make an emergency landing into the grass near the Indiana State Police hangar.
