Description
In the early 2000s, Josh Hartnett starred in Hollywood blockbusters like "Black Hawk Down," "Pearl Harbor" and "Lucky Number Slevin."
Decades later, he's having a career resurgence, with notable roles in Best Picture-winning "Oppenheimer," M. Night Shyamalan's "Trap" and now action comedy "Fight or Flight."
"I was sent the script probably a year before we ended up making it. We went through so many different permutations with it. We wanted to make it as fun, unusual and funny as possible, but also the conceit to films like this is that the actors do their own stunts, so I had to get myself into shape," Hartnett said. "As I was doing that, I was shooting 'Oppenheimer,' and I gained a bunch of weight for that, so I had to get into shape much more quickly after we finished that."
Hartnett plays exiled American agent Lucas Reyes, who is given the chance to redeem himself with an assignment to track down and identify a mysterious person – only known as "The Ghost – on a flight from Bangkok to San Francisco. The catch? The plane is full of assassins from around the world who have been assigned to kill both The Ghost and Reyes.
"Fight or Flight" is now in theaters nationwide.
