Description
Police are investigating a fatal crash that killed a 4-year-old child on the near southeast side of Indianapolis Wednesday night. According to an IMPD spokesperson, the driver of a Dodge Charger was traveling east on Raymond Street at a high rate of speed around 9:15 p.m. May 7 when he ran a red light at State Avenue. The Charger struck another vehicle, which had a green light, and a bicyclist who was in the crosswalk with the walk light. "It wasn't even close," IMPD Capt. Don Weilhammer said, noting the driver of the Charger had a "solid red" light. The child was riding in a bike trailer behind the bicycle, which was being ridden by their father. https://www.wthr.com/article/news/local/police-investigate-fatal-crash-involving-bicycle-on-near-southeast-side-of-indianapolis/531-2a2051a9-42b5-473e-9e5f-7e354e62c904
