Description

Indiana lawmakers are increasing the speed limit on the Interstate 465 beltway around Indianapolis. Starting on July 1, 2025, the speed limit will increase from 55 mph to 65 mph. The increase is thanks to an exception to the statewide highway speed limit that was added to the road funding bill that was passed in the 2025 session.
