Description

Drivers will begin receiving penalties for speeding in a construction zone on the northeast side of Indianapolis. INDOT has been monitoring speed in the Clear Path I-465/I-69 construction zone since early in 2025, with drivers receiving warning notices for speeding as part of the Safe Zones program. The department reports 90,000 notices have been sent out, warning drivers about their speed. But starting Monday, May 5, speeding through the construction zone could come with a fine.
