The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is considering closing its branch in Alexandria.
BMV leaders hosted a public hearing Thursday to get feedback on the proposal. People in attendance expressed concerns about access.
According to the BMV, the Alexandria branch averages about 31,000 transactions a year. That's compared to some locations in Indianapolis that see 150,000 transaction.
