Metro police are investigating a shooting that left one person in critical condition on the east side of Indianapolis Thursday night. Police received a report of a person shot around 10 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of North Gladstone Avenue, near East 10th Street and North Sherman Drive. Officers later determined that while the 911 call came from the 900 block of North Gladstone Avenue, the shooting had actually occurred two blocks south, in the 700 block of North Gladstone Avenue. Police found one person at the scene who had apparently been shot.
