Description
Historic changes could be coming to the Indiana High School Athletic Association, thanks to a small high school in Randolph County.
"This is a small school obviously," said principal Ryan Chiddister at Union Jr./Sr. High School. "It is a family-like atmosphere."
Union is home to about 120 students, sporting blue and yellow and cheering for Rowdy Rocket.
First and foremost, we want the most opportunities we can have for our students," said Chiddister. "That is the reason for the proposal."
In mid-February, Chiddister proposed a change to the IHSAA bylaws. It would allow two member schools to team up for athletic purposes.
