"Rust" is set in the 1880s as 13-year-old Lucas Hollister (Patrick Scott McDermott) is sentenced to be hanged after he fatally shoots a rancher by accident. The boy goes on the run with his estranged grandfather and notorious outlaw Harland Rust (Alec Baldwin) as they are hunted by U.S. Marshal Wood Helm (Josh Hopkins) and ruthless bounty hunter Fenton "Preacher" Lang (Travis Fimmel). "His performance blows me away and even more so knowing this was his first film," said Hopkins ("Cougar Town," "Quantico") of McDermott ("Goosebumps," "Stranger Things: The First Shadow").
