Description
The Seymour Police Department and Indiana State Police said a person who allegedly fired a shot inside a library has been arrested for attempted murder.
According to Indiana State Police, 911 dispatchers got a call around noon on Wednesday, April 30 on a report of an active shooter at the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour.
An 18-year-old man reportedly entered the front door of the library and immediately fired one shot from a long gun toward two nearby library employees. One of those employees had minor injuries from the incident and was taken to a hospital.
