An Indianapolis teen was convicted this week for his role in the 2023 deadly shooting of a 15-year-old boy on the city's west side. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office said April 30 that 19-year-old Wardell Wright was found guilty of two counts of murder and one count of robbery resulting in serious bodily injury after a one-day jury trial in the death of Jeremiah Lewis. Wright was one of three people charged in connection with Lewis' death. The prosecutor's office said a 14-year-old was accused for her role in a case adjudicated in juvenile court. Brenden Dixson, 19, pleaded guilty to attempted robbery resulting in serious bodily injury in connection with the incident.
