Description
The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will pace the 109th Indianapolis 500, IMS officials announced Tuesday afternoon.
The Corvette ZR1 can go up to 233 mph, which is the highest top speed of a car made by an American auto manufacturer, officials said.
Michael Strahan, Pro Football Hall of Fame member, "Good Morning America" co-host and longtime "FOX NFL Sunday" analyst, has been named honorary Pace Car driver.
He will drive the Corvette ZR1 and lead the field of 33 drivers to the start of the “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.”
