Description
The family of a Jennings County non-verbal second grader is planning to sue the school corporation after they say their 7-year-old was raped repeatedly by an older student on a school bus.
Both the victim and the alleged rapist are juveniles and have not been publicly identified. A 15-year-old boy has been formally accused of rape in juvenile court by the Jennings County prosecutor.
The alleged assaults were recorded by at least one camera on a school bus, according to court documents. The Jennings County School Corporation is now reviewing security video from the entire school year to find out if there were other incidents.
