Over the next three years, Franklin will see major changes on U.S. 31.
Crews are ditching several stoplights and left turn lanes. Instead, they are building Reduced Conflict Intersections, or RCIs.
"What motorists will do is before turning left, they will actually have to turn right," said Sideny Nierman, with INDOT.
