An eastern Indiana fire department is mourning the loss of a firefighter who died in the line of duty on Friday. The Milton-Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department said firefighter Scott Adams died April 25, 2025. In an update, the department said Adams died at home, "suffering a medical emergency hours after responding to a call for a motor vehicle accident."
