The month of May is now days away, and that means time is short for Indy 500 drivers to practice ahead of race day—but their not the only ones.
“Today, we get to train everything.” said Dr. Julia Vaizer, the medical director at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Vaizer and representatives from American Medical Response and IU Health oversaw a team of roughly 60 EMS personnel who came from across the country to have a one-time group run through many different emergency scenarios at the IMS track Saturday.
