Description
One person is dead following a crash involving an iconic Purdue University vehicle Thursday afternoon.
The Tippecanoe County Sheriff's Office confirmed to 13News the Boilermaker Special was involved in the crash on U.S. 52 at Wyandotte Road around 4 p.m. April 24.
Deputies say the vehicle was traveling north on U.S. 52 when it crossed the center line after a "possible tire malfunction" and struck a car that was going southbound.
