Description
An IMPD officer is credited with saving a baby's life earlier in April.
Officer Othniel Israel was nearby when a call came out for an unresponsive 2-week-old baby.
Israel arrived within minutes and immediately started performing back blows on the baby.
He said by the time EMS responders got to the home, the baby was awake and making noises.
Israel said this is part of his job, helping people when they need it.
