Description
Fully cooked pork carnitas sold at Aldi grocery stores across the United States are being recalled due to contamination of "foreign material, specifically pieces of metal," according to the US Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The recalled item is sold in a 16-oz sleeve and is called "Pork Carnitas SEASONED & SEARED PORK WITH JUICES SLOW COOKED WITH CITRUS, READY TO SHRED."
